Order Fulfillment

All Sawyer Riley pieces that are made from gold and silver (without gemstones) are made to order and may take up to 2-4 weeks to produce before shipping. If you have concerns with turnaround time and/or have a rush order, please email me at sawyer@sawyerriley.com to check available inventory.

Shipping

Free shipping via the USPS Priority Mail is offered to all orders totalling $150 or more (tax and shipping excluded in total.) For all other orders, a flat rate of $10 will be charged for USPS Priority Mail. If your shipping address will not allow for USPS delivery, please email me at sawyer@sawyerriley.com to arrange for alternate delivery options.

Return Policy

All Sawyer Riley earring and necklace sales are final. If rings are purchased and they don't fit as intended, an exchange may be made for different sizes if done so within 14 days of purchase and the rings are returned in perfect condition and included in the original Sawyer Riley packaging. Please do not send anything back without contacting me first and arranging the return. Items shipped without prior knowledge will not be accepted.

There are no refunds on items damaged in shipping. In that case, you must file a claim with the carrier. All packages are to be fully insured. You must notify us of any return so that we will be expecting your package. Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused. We do not refund shipping costs if applicable. They will be deducted from the total amount of your refund.

Jewelry Care

Although I stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece of jewelry that I make, special care needs to be taken so that no damage occurs in the wearing of it.

Caring for Sterling Silver

Sterling silver tarnishes in certain conditions, especially those like salty air and exposure to sulfur, which occurs naturally and in many household products. If you wear your silver every day then you will rarely need to clean it. If you intend to take the jewelry off for an extended period of time (more than just overnight, for example) please put it back into the original Sawyer Riley packaging, as it includes anti-tarnish tissue paper (a product made in the USA) and it will protect it from discoloration. If your silver tarnishes, bringing back the bright finish is easy with either a silver polishing cloth or a soft bristle brush (like a toothbrush) with a mild toothpaste or silver cleaner. If your jewelry also contains gemstones of any kind, please be careful not to expose the stones to any chemicals or cleaners as they may not react well.

As with all jewelry, please remove all items before exercising (or any strenuous activity including cardio, yoga, lifting weights, etc.), showering or bathing, sleeping, applying perfumes, lotions, oils, makeup, or hair products, cooking, baking, or doing dishes, cleaning (especially with bleach or other harsh chemicals), swimming, gardening, painting, throwing pottery, etc.

Caring for Gold

All of the gold used in Sawyer Riley jewelry is solid and therefore will not tarnish. If dirt and grime work there way into any crevices, mild soap and water applied with a soft bristle brush (such as a toothbrush) should clean it nicely. Please avoid household bleach as it is known to discolor and even disintegrate gold. If the jewelry also contains gemstones of any kind, please be careful not to expose them to any chemicals or cleaners as they may not react well.

Caring for Gemstones

Although the gemstones chosen for Sawyer Riley jewelry are beautiful, they need to be treated kindly. Please be careful to not expose them to any chemicals or cleaners as they may not react well. Additionally, direct blows and/or dropping the gems could result in fractures and breaks that could be detrimental to the longevity of your piece. Removing your jewelry every night and placing it back in the Sawyer Riley packaging is the best way to ensure that your heirloom pieces will endure.

Repair Policy and Return Policy

Please follow care instructions to ensure that your jewelry is lovingly cared for and it will last a very long time. If no obvious signs of trauma are apparent in your jewelry, there will be no charge for any repairs needed within the first year of the purchase date unless replacement parts are needed. If stones or metal are missing from the original jewelry or obvious signs of trauma are apparent, a fee will be assessed for appropriate repair and suitable replacements within the first year. After one year of the purchase date, I will accept any requested repairs with an associate repair fee as well as any possible replacement fees. As with all one-of-a-kind pieces, I may not be able to find similar replacement gems for those lost but I will do my absolute best to do so.
